A Process Where Healing Means Becoming

You’re not here because something is wrong with you. You’re here because you’ve already done a lot of inner work, and your body knows there’s more that wants support.

At The Cocoon, healing isn’t about fixing yourself or pushing for change. It’s about slowing down enough to listen to what your system has been trying to do for you all along.

Many of the patterns we carry are simply survival tools. They helped at one point. They made sense then. When they’re met with safety and care, they don’t have to run the show anymore.

This work creates the space for that softening to happen naturally. There’s structure, rhythm, and support, without pressure to perform or move faster than you’re ready.

Nothing here is rushed. Nothing is demanded.

You’re met where you are, and as safety settles in, what’s ready begins to emerge on its own.

Moving forward stops feeling like effort.
It starts to feel more like permission.

Healing Happens Here

Each of these practices is offered as part of an integrated process…
Designed to support the body, mind, and spirit in returning to balance.

Soul Retrieval

Sometimes, parts of us pull away during moments of survival, pain, or overwhelm.

Soul retrieval is a gentle process of inviting those parts back… so you can feel more whole, present, and connected in your own body.

This work is paced, respectful, and focused on integration… not reliving what you’ve already lived.

Trauma Release

This is where change begins at the root.

Through somatic release and hypnotherapy-informed subconscious work, we support the nervous system in letting go of stored stress and protective patterns that no longer need to be on guard.

Nothing is forced. The body leads, and release happens at a pace it can trust.

Past Life Regression

Past life work is offered as a way to explore patterns, themes, and unresolved experiences that may still be influencing your present life.

Whether experienced symbolically or vividly, these sessions can bring insight, clarity, and a sense of closure… all held within an integrative and grounded container.

Energy Healing

Energy healing offers a deeply restorative space to settle, rebalance, and reset.

Sessions are attuned to what you’re carrying in the moment, supporting a sense of calm, clarity, and emotional ease as your system returns to harmony.

All of this work is held within a carefully guided container, with choice, consent, and integration at the center.

Ceremony is the Thread that Holds it All

Ceremony provides the rhythm of the retreat.

It’s the space where individual work is gently woven into shared experience…
allowing what’s been opened to settle, integrate, and make sense in the body.

Rather than pushing for insight or release, ceremony creates continuity.

It marks transitions, offers reflection, and supports
the nervous system in staying present as the work deepens.

This is what allows the experience to unfold with coherence…
and prepares you to move through each day with intention, clarity, and support.

Elemental Magic and Ceremony

The elements offer a simple, embodied way to understand healing.

Earth. Water. Fire. Air. Ether.

These forces shape how we regulate, feel, release, and integrate. When we work with them intentionally, they help the body make sense of change… not just intellectually, but somatically.

Each element carries a different quality of support.

Earth brings grounding and stability.

Water invites softening and emotional flow.

Fire clears what’s ready to move.

Air opens breath, perspective, and spaciousness.

Ether weaves everything back into coherence.

At The Cocoon, the elements guide the rhythm of the retreat. Each day is anchored in an elemental theme and explored through ceremony, movement, ritual, and reflection. Over time, these experiences build on one another… creating a steady arc that supports integration rather than overwhelm.

This is how transformation becomes embodied.

Not forced. Not performed.

But lived, day by day, through direct experience.

You don’t need to understand the elements ahead of time. You’ll come to know them
through experience.

Everything at The Cocoon is intentionally paced and integrated…
So nothing stands alone, and nothing feels rushed

Lake Atitlán: Lake of the Living Waters

Cradled in the highlands of Guatemala and encircled by three ancient volcanoes, Lake Atitlán has long been known as a place of reflection and depth.

From the shores above Tzununá, the elements gather naturally. Water moves with quiet intelligence. Earth steadies. Fire rests beneath the surface. Air opens the breath. Ether weaves it all together.

Many people who spend time here notice something subtle shift. Not as spectacle or myth, but as presence. A soft unlayering. A return to what feels steady, real, and enduring.

This is a place that invites listening… and meets you where you are.

The Space That Holds You **Saasil Retreat Center**

Our home for this journey is Saasil Retreat Center, a serene eco-retreat overlooking Lake Atitlán, designed to support rest, reflection, and integration.

You’ll stay in barefoot-chic accommodations that harmonize with the surrounding land, with quiet spaces that invite both connection and solitude. A light-filled yoga sanctuary opens to panoramic views of the lake and volcanoes, where morning movement and breath naturally settle the nervous system.

Meals are thoughtfully prepared using fresh, locally sourced ingredients… three nourishing meals daily, along with fruit, snacks, and juices to support the body through the week.

The land itself is part of the experience.

A traditional Mayan Temazcal offers space for release and renewal.

Lush gardens, shaded paths, hammocks beneath the palms, and a flowing stream create natural moments for rest and integration.

Every detail is designed to support presence… so you can arrive fully, and stay.

Daily Flow

While there is a rich offering woven throughout the week, the experience is not about keeping up or completing a checklist. We move at the pace of the group, allowing the days to unfold organically in response to what’s present.

There is a lot held within this retreat… and there is also space.

Mornings are grounding and orienting, with meditation, breath, and gentle yoga to settle the nervous system and prepare the body for the day ahead.

Midday is intentionally spacious, allowing time for nourishment, rest, reflection, and one-on-one sessions or workshops as they arise.

Afternoons often hold group experiences, somatic practices, or excursions aligned with the day’s elemental theme, supported by flexibility rather than urgency.

Evenings are designed for integration, with ceremony, sound, reflection, or quiet connection to help the body digest the day and settle into rest.

The schedule is held with care and responsiveness. We remain open to adjusting the flow based on the needs of the group and individual participants, always prioritizing regulation, integration, and presence.

You’re supported in listening to your body and participating in a way that feels aligned.

Rest, integration time, and personal pacing are built into each day. The flow adapts to support the group and individual needs as the week unfolds.
