The Butterfly

A women's healing retreat · Lake Atitlán, Guatemala

Wild woman,
come home.

An intimate 8-night women's healing retreat.

Reclaim your power.Remember your divinity.Find your freedom.

January 15–23, 2027  ·  Only 6 women

Before the wings,
there is the Cocoon.
Before the freedom,
there is the descent.

You learned how to be a good woman.

How to swallow the no.

How to soften the anger.

How to doubt what you knew the moment someone else disagreed.

How to call exhaustion love.

How to call self-abandonment compromise.

How to make yourself easier to hold.

And somewhere beneath all of that...

is the woman you could never fully domesticate.

Waiting.

Ancient.

Instinctive.

Sacred.

Yours.

The Wild Woman.

The power to trust what you know.

To listen when your body speaks.

To honor the no and choose the yes.

To nurture without disappearing.

To love without abandoning yourself.

To be soft without being submissive.

To stand in your own authority without becoming hard.

To recognize that the divine is not only something outside of you.

It lives within you, too.

Your power was never gone.

But there may be years of expectations, pain, conditioning, inherited patterns and survival between you and your ability to feel it.

So we go down.

Not to stay there.

To reclaim what has always been yours.

When a woman reconnects to her power, trusts her knowing, and remembers her divinity...

she can begin to free herself.

Lake Atitlán landscape at The Cocoon

The initiation

Descend.Release. Reclaim. Return.

Earth. Water. Fire. Air. Ether.

For eight nights, we move through the elements and into the places within you that are ready to be met.

The stories you inherited.

The patterns you learned to survive.

The grief your body remembers.

The anger you were taught to swallow.

The parts of yourself you buried because, at some point, it felt safer not to be all of who you are.

This is where healing becomes something you experience, not just something you understand.

Some things are spoken.

Some are burned.

Some are washed away.

Some leave through the body.

And some things aren't released at all.

Your voice.

Your knowing.

Your desire.

Your power.

They are reclaimed.

And as those pieces return, something else begins to emerge.

Your own nature.

Not the woman you were taught to be.

The woman you are when you are free enough to be fully yourself.

And beneath all of it, the remembrance that the sacred was never somewhere outside of you.

The divine lives within you.

This is your initiation.

The method

Ceremony is the thread.
Magic is the method.

The Butterfly is not a collection of healing experiences packed into eight days.

It is one initiation.

Woven together through ceremony and empowered by our earliest ancestors...

the elements themselves.

We open sacred space together on the first night.

And from that moment forward, the ceremony has begun.

Through the private healing work.

Through the waterfall.

Through the rage.

Through the moments something breaks open...

and the moments something ancient inside you remembers.

Ceremony is the thread that carries the intention from one threshold into the next.

And the elements are more than symbols.

They were here before us.

We enter into relationship with them.

We remember them to remember ourselves.

Because you are not separate from nature.

You are nature.

And nature was never meant to be tamed.

Fire is fed.

Offerings are given.

The earth holds what is buried.

The wind carries what is ready to move.

Plants are carried into the water.

Smoke rises with prayers in it.

The lake receives.

The drum speaks.

And your body remembers languages older than words.

With ceremony.

With the body.

With the land.

With our ancestors.

With the elements.

With what can be seen...

and what cannot.

We heal.

Only when the journey is complete do we close the sacred space together.

There is a beginning.

A crossing.

A descent.

A return.

Arrival

Arrival day at Lake Atitlán

The Crossing

You arrive in Guatemala.

But The Butterfly has already begun.

The preparation. The prayer. The intention you carried with you when you boarded the plane.

That first evening, we gather.

We drink cacao.

We meet the women who will walk beside us.

And together, we open sacred space.

The crossing begins.

ArrivalAirport pickup and the drive to the lake.
SettleRoom check-in and settling into the land.
EveningWelcome dinner and meeting your guides and the women who will walk beside you.
CeremonyOpening Cacao Ceremony and traditional Despacho ritual to open sacred space and align our collective intentions.
NightIntegration circle.

Day 1

Lake Atitlán landscape for the Earth day

Descend.

Before we can change a pattern, we have to be willing to see where it began.

We turn toward lineage.

Family.

Ancestry.

The stories and beliefs that were handed to us before we were old enough to decide whether they belonged to us.

We go down.

Into the roots.

Into the body.

Into the places where the story began.

Not to live there.

To know what we are carrying.

MorningMovement medicine, meditation, and breathwork.
WorkshopAncestral Patterns Workshop, unearthing the inherited blueprints.
SessionYour first private QRM session.
NightIntegration circle.

Day 2

Tori giving Reiki to a woman outdoors with mountain views

Remember.

Before the water can carry something away, you have to be willing to meet what is there.

We turn toward the younger versions of you.

The memories that shaped you.

The stories that began before you understood they would become stories you carried into adulthood.

And through Past-Life Regression, we open the door even further...

into what your soul remembers.

Not to relive it.

To meet it with someone beside you.

Some of what surfaces will be yours. Some will be older than you. All of it deserves to be seen before it can be set down.

And you do not do this alone. The women beside you remember with you.

You cannot release what you refuse to remember.

MorningMovement medicine, meditation, and breathwork.
HealingInner child healing.
SessionPast-Life Regression.
EveningSisterhood circle.
NightIntegration circle.

Day 3

Waterfall cleansing ceremony location

Let it move.

There are things the mind understands long before the body is ready to release them.

So we enter the water.

Plants are cleansed beneath the waterfall.

An offering is given.

The drum begins.

And when you are ready, you step beneath the cold water and give yourself permission to release whatever you carried up the mountain.

You decide when you enter.

You decide when you are done.

Some women scream.

Some cry.

Some laugh when they come out.

Some stand beneath the water in complete silence.

There is no correct way to meet it.

The water receives what you are ready to give it.

JourneySilent waterfall journey.
CeremonyWaterfall cleansing ceremony.
BodyworkMayan abdominal womb massage.
NightFloating sound bath.

Day 4

Sacred Rage fire ritual at Lake Atitlán

Burn.

There is anger you were taught to swallow.

Grief you learned to make prettier.

Words that never left your throat.

Boundaries you knew before you had language for them.

Fire does not ask you to make any of it beautiful.

Here, there is room for the rage.

For the truth.

For the sound.

For what has been held in the body because there was nowhere safe for it to go.

And there is room to discover what lives underneath it.

Your anger is not the opposite of your softness.

Sometimes it is the part of you that remembers where the boundary was.

MorningMovement medicine, meditation, and breathwork.
WorkshopSacred Rage Workshop, moving stuck and suppressed anger out of the body.
RitualYour personal fire ritual.
NightIntegration circle.

Day 5

Temazcal steam ceremony at Lake Atitlán

Forge.

Fire is not only destruction.

Fire changes the form of things.

After meeting the rage, we enter the heat again.

Through temazcal.

Through prayer.

Through private healing work.

Through Maya fire ceremony held with traditional healers.

This is not another day of burning.

This is the forge.

What are you taking with you?

What are you leaving in the fire?

And what is beginning to take shape in its place?

MorningMovement medicine, meditation, and breathwork.

Day 6

Air day breathwork and expansion image

Reclaim.

After the descent comes space.

Breath.

Perspective.

Possibility.

We work with breath, the subconscious and the stories you have carried about who you are allowed to be.

Not to hand you a new identity.

To make room for you to choose.

Who are you when your decisions are no longer being made entirely by what happened to you?

What happens when you trust the knowing in your body again?

Your instinct.

Your desire.

Your no.

Your yes.

The wild was never the absence of wisdom.

It was your nature before you learned not to trust it.

Air creates room.

You decide what fills it.

MorningMovement medicine, meditation, and breathwork.
WorkshopIdentity reclamation workshop.
JourneyRebirth breathwork.
Hypnosis“I AM” hypnosis.

Day 7

Ether day zipline and joyful integration image

Fly.

Something changes when you can see farther.

We rise.

We move.

We laugh.

We celebrate.

We look back at the woman who entered the Cocoon and recognize everything she was brave enough to meet.

And somewhere along the way, you begin to recognize her.

The Wild Woman.

Not because she became louder.

Not because she became harder.

Because she belongs to herself again.

This is not the moment we hand you your wings.

They were always yours.

This is the moment you remember how to use them.

Wild things were never meant to stay in cages.

Why only six women?

Because this work asks for intimacy.

The Butterfly holds six.

Six women means we know your name.

We know what you came carrying.

There is room for your private healing work.

Room for us to notice when you need support.

Room for silence.

Room for laughter.

Room to disappear to your room for a minute when you need to.

And room to become close enough that, somewhere along the way, six strangers stop feeling quite so strange.

This is not a conference.

It is a Cocoon.

In their words

What women
carry home

We can tell you what happens inside The Cocoon. We would rather let the women who have entered it tell you what it felt like.

“I know they are permanent.”

"The healing I experienced, physiological, psychological, and spiritual, was immediate, profound, and lasting. Four months later, the shifts remain just as strong. I know they are permanent."

"Tori and Tye are truly all-in when it comes to supporting anyone seeking healing or spiritual transformation. Their connection to healing energy is real, powerful, and deeply felt. This retreat changed my life, and I am forever grateful."

Karen B. · Retreat Graduate

“Areas of chronic pain have vanished.”

"The level of healing and transformation attained in a single week astounds me. As a Nurse Practitioner, I can tell you that for deep healing, you can't do better than this. Areas of chronic pain have vanished. I feel lighter, clearer, and calmer."

"Tori and Tye are so beautifully connected to grace and to spirit that you will want to keep them in your life forever. And you get to do this in paradise, surrounded by the volcanoes and magical waters of Lake Atitlán. This was worth way more than it cost."

Alicia S. · Nurse Practitioner, Retreat Graduate

“This wasn’t surface-level healing.”

"I came in open, but I didn't realize just how much I was ready to release. This wasn't surface-level healing. This was deep, transformational work that allowed me to shift patterns I've been carrying for years. I left feeling lighter, clearer, and more aligned with myself than I have in a long time."

"If you're feeling called to do real inner work and step into a higher version of yourself, I cannot recommend this retreat enough. It's truly a sacred experience, and I'm so grateful for the healing space Tori and Tye have created."

Janice L. · Retreat Graduate

The land

Held by the land.

Lake Atitlán is not a backdrop to this work.

It is our home.

A hammock overlooking Lake Atitlán and the volcanoes
A boat crossing Lake Atitlán
The waterfall near Lake Atitlán

We live here. We raise our family here. And the relationships we have built here are part of what makes The Butterfly possible.

We believe being welcomed by a place also comes with responsibility.

For every woman who joins The Butterfly, we make a donation to Natün Guatemala, supporting work within the communities around Lake Atitlán.

Our relationship with this place is not only about what we receive here. It is also about what we give back.

Tori

Tye

We're Tori and Tye, husband and wife, healers, and the founders of The Cocoon.

For more than a decade, we have devoted our lives to healing work, ceremony, energy, the subconscious, meditation and sound.

During The Butterfly, we walk beside you.

We guide the healing.

We hold you through the places that ask you to go deeper.

We challenge you when something is ready to be seen.

We open doors.

But the doors you walk through belong to you.

Because you don't come all the way to Guatemala to leave with another person to follow.

You leave with more of yourself.

More choice.

More truth.

More life.

More freedom.
