The Cocoon Healing Retreat
Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that life is unpredictable. This policy is designed to be fair to both participants and to The Cocoon, which makes significant operational and facilitation commitments well in advance of each retreat.
All deposits are non-refundable. Your deposit holds your space and initiates our preparation for your arrival. It is applied toward your total balance and cannot be returned under any circumstances.
Participant-Initiated Cancellations
If you need to cancel your reservation, please notify us in writing as soon as possible at transform@thecocoonhealingretreat.com. Your refund eligibility is based on when written notice is received:

Transfers and Deferrals
We want to support your journey, even when timing shifts. If you cannot attend your booked retreat, you may request to transfer your payment (minus the deposit) to a future Cocoon retreat within 12 months of the original date, subject to availability. Transfer requests must be received in writing no later than 14 days before your retreat.
Only one transfer is permitted per booking. Transferred balances have no cash value and cannot be refunded.
Extraordinary Circumstances
If you face a documented emergency such as a serious medical event, family bereavement, or government travel restriction, please reach out directly. We will review each situation with care and on a case-by-case basis. Documentation may be requested.
Please note: We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers retreat cancellations. The Cocoon cannot absorb losses caused by airline disruptions, visa issues, personal emergencies, or other factors outside our control.
Cocoon-Initiated Cancellations
In the rare event that The Cocoon cancels a retreat due to insufficient enrollment, facilitator emergency, force majeure, or safety concerns, all participants will receive:
- A full refund of all amounts paid, including the deposit, OR
- The option to transfer the full amount to a future retreat of equal or lesser value
The Cocoon is not responsible for non-refundable travel or accommodation costs incurred by participants in these circumstances.
Stripe Payment Processing
All payments are processed through Stripe. Refunds, where applicable, will be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days of approval. Stripe processing fees are non-recoverable and may be deducted from refund amounts.
