We believe in honest, caring policies, so you always know exactly where you stand.
Why we hold this policy
Every seat matters. Every commitment shapes the container.
Our retreats are small and deeply intentional, a maximum of six participants. That intimacy is the medicine. It also means a single cancellation has real impact, both financially and energetically, on the entire retreat.
When you register, we begin preparing for you: coordinating facilitators, securing the venue, gathering materials, and holding space in ways that carry real costs. We make those commitments on your behalf long before the retreat begins.
So we built a policy that protects the container and protects you. Here is exactly how it works.
When you book
A $555 deposit holds your place.
Deposits are non-refundable, always. This is how we hold a seat for you in a circle of six and turn others away from it.
More than 60 days before your retreat
Your balance is fully protected.
The remaining balance is due 60 days before your retreat begins. Cancel before the 60-day mark and any balance you've paid is refunded in full. No questions, no forms, no guilt.
Within 60 days of your retreat
Your balance becomes non-refundable.
By then your seat can no longer be refilled, and the commitments made for your arrival are already in motion. But nothing is lost. Everything you've paid stays yours, below.
But here's the good news
Your money never disappears. Ever.
If life shifts, anything non-refundable is never lost. You have two options, both yours to keep with no deadline and no expiration.
Transfer Your Spot
Pass your seat to someone else who is ready to do the work. Notify us in writing with their name and we'll bring them through our intake process.
Roll to a Future Retreat
Your full payment applies to any future Cocoon retreat: The Butterfly, The Moth, The Kaleidoscope, or a private immersion. Whenever you're ready.

Life can move your dates. It can't take your healing. It stays paid for until you come claim it.

Travel insurance is required
All guests must carry travel insurance covering trip cancellation and interruption, purchased at the time of booking. If illness, emergency, or airline chaos keeps you from traveling inside the 60-day window, your insurance is your refund, and your roll-forward is still here as well. The Cocoon cannot absorb losses caused by circumstances outside our control, and this is how we make sure you don't have to either.
If we ever cancel
In the rare event The Cocoon cancels a retreat, you receive a full refund of everything paid, including your deposit, or a transfer to a future cohort with your seat reserved. Your choice, immediately, no conditions.
